OUCH!!!

So today was the day I forgo running and Epil. For those who live in a closet (hmm play on words here?), An Epil is short for Epilator. I get up same time (4:30 am), go down to the man cave, turn on Sportscenteror NFL network and begin the torture session of pulling the hairs from my leg with an electronic device (Epil Optima is my fav). Saturday it will be perfect however, with no sign of an issue. No pain after just smooooooth. Worst sections to epil, knees and carpet area. Believe it or not, to epil the boys and underside is not as bad as you would think but have a couple of shots and don't press down for goodness sake. Knees hurt more.

After I epil, always do a quick full shave to get any hairs I may have missed or that may have broken off in the process. Well, another down side of using an epil, is you are more susceptible to ingrown hairs. It weakens the hair follicle and can result in sometimes, the hair not able to cum back thru the skin properlyresulting in a bit of a bump. I've discovered that by using rubbing alcohol a couple of days a week minimizes and practically removes this chance but it still happens on occasion. Trust me, It's worth it to epil every couple of weeks over shaving every couple of days for the effects.

Well, I epil this morning, all of an hour for the entire body (not doing my arms right now) and I went up to shower and shave this morning. I usually run a check with my hands to make sure there are no ingrown hair bumps but forgot this morning as I was up late working last night. Began the shave of the back of the legs and OUCH! Shaved off an ingrown bump. It looked like the shower scene in Carrie only a tampon wouldn't help here.

I know have a chunk out of the back of my upper thigh and it hurts. As they say in the cartoons, what a maroooon. But the rest of my legs will look great tomorrow with one blight spot. For those gurls out there who for whatever reason, do not remove the hair from your legs, you don't know what you are missing. With hose, it's wonderful. To be honest, without hose it feels better too. Your legs don't look "dirty". It's a nice clean look that I think most men should consider regardless of why.

I'm lucky that because I ride bikes a lot, it's more accepted in my circle to have hairless legs than in other events. The one thing I did notice when I was in Nepal over spring, I did not have the facilities to shave and the hair grew back but not as heavy as it has in the past. I believe it is because of the epil use. When I got back to a real hotel the first thing I did was shave my body hair. Wonderful! I ran out in Italy on my way backand bought a great pair of pantyhose. Wolfords actually and was thrilled again to have a denier on my legs that was under 100 for the first time in months. It was a bit chilly where I was in Nepal so I had a lot of very thick tights with me.

I'm thinking of starting some kind of support group for a few of us who are frustrated locally with the crossdress community. So many seem frustrated and alone but no one wants to help just to talk. Listen and share. I can't talk to my wife about this as although she knows I dress, she isn't thrilled. We need more of a support for us who are afraid to go out and meet. Maybe once a week or once a month, meet non fem for lunch in Norcross area and talk. I IM with a few but not local who express the same desire. We'll see how that goes.

Boring post warning...just rambling......

Bought 8 pairs of european high glossblack pantyhose yesterday from my fav pantyhose site out of Atlanta. www.luxelegwear.com. Shehas some great european pantyhose/thigh highs and they also have a nylon cocoon which should be interesting.
